Bridge Leadership

Fred and Aretha TenEyck are building a community of believers dedicated to loving God and one another.  Having been around various types of churches over the years. it's time for something new.

Fred is from the Maryland/DC area.  He wasn't raised in the church and actually spent most of his teenagers being very critical of Christianity.  After having accepted Jesus at the age of 18, he remained critical of the ways that churches represented Christ.  It looked like a show.  There didn't seem to be an authentic love for God and the spreading of Jesus' message of love to the world.  Many years later he still sees a need for the church to do the basic tenants of loving God and loving neighbors. 

 

Aretha is from Southern California and is a gifted worshipper.  Through the years she's dedicated herself to God through music ministry and serving the needs the unhoused community in and around Los Angeles.  Professionally she works those with special needs through training teams of autism service providers all over the U.S.  She is committed to helping people know God and grow in their journey to maturity in their relationships with God.

Together, Fred and Aretha are bringing their passion for God and community to Kent, Washington.
